I completed college courses in Pharmacy and Reception in 2005, after which someone approached me about a career in Dental Nursing and I’ve been nursing ever since. I started by working on both reception and nursing in a madeiran practice, now my role is focussed upon the clinical standards for the practice at CDG, leading the nursing team and I find it much easier to have my role directed like this.
About You
Vanessa Marques has been with The Cosmetic Dental Group since November 2009 and is the Lead Nurse, responsible for maintaining clinical standards across the practice and supporting the nursing team.
Originally from Madeira, Vanessa began her career in 2005 after completing pharmacy and reception courses, before discovering her passion for dental nursing. She finds her focused role at CDG both fulfilling and rewarding, thanks to the friendly and collaborative atmosphere of the team.
Outside of work, Vanessa loves spending time with her husband and their two daughters especially enjoying outdoor play, beach days as a family or movie afternoons when the weather is a bit wet . Described by her colleagues as hardworking, friendly, and caring.
