About You

My journey in dentistry began with an aspiration to deliver high quality care and transform people’s smiles, a commitment that evolved into a lifelong career. I continuously strive to improve my skills by blending science, technology and aesthetics to achieve reliable and consistent results.

Over the past 30 years, I worked in a military dental hospital, followed by an associate position in Athens. Over a span of nine years, I progressed to lead clinician and partner within this group of multidisciplinary practices, honing my expertise alongside distinguished oral surgeons, paediatric, and orthodontic consultants.

In 2004, I relocated to the Yorkshire Dales, where I led a clinical team at Oasis Dental Care before founding and managing two successful practices for over a decade. During this time, I completed a Clinical Master’s Degree (MSc) in Dental Implantology at Warwick University and provided both NHS and private orthodontic care, consistently peer-reviewed for quality by the National Health Board.

Guided by a desire to provide a more holistic approach to dentistry, I explored alternatives to traditional tooth extractions in orthodontics, discovering the benefits of dental orthopaedics—gentle, non-invasive techniques to develop dental arches. While extractions remain necessary in select cases, I successfully apply this approach to adults and children alike. To further my knowledge in orthodontic treatments, I trained in Clear Aligner Therapy with Inman, CFast, Spark and the Invisalign Comprehensive Certification course.

In addition to my special interest in Dental Implants and Orthodontics, I enjoy creating smile design makeovers with porcelain veneers and composite bonding. Through dedicated training, I became a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, further strengthening my skills and commitment to excellence in dental aesthetics.

My approach to dentistry will always centre on building lasting relationships with my patients of all ages, focusing on personalised care that addresses both the health and aesthetics of each smile. Whether performing a routine examination, a smile makeover, or a complex restorative procedure, I always endeavour to take time to understand each patient’s individual needs and concerns.

Outside work, I enjoy all things related to the sea, be it cold water swimming, surfing or just lying on the beach, but what I relish the most is spending time with my family.
