Devon, the Southwest of England, my homeland. I moved to Jersey in 2016 after a holiday earlier that year I was determined to move here to start a new adventure!

Braces by Jonathon Wood who has retired now, as well as whitening after the braces and then composite bonding on 2 of my upper teeth to make my smile look perfect! Love my teeth now and was able to smile with confidence for our wedding day.

The team, it makes a difference when the team you work with really care about the business and work hard in providing the highest standard of care. They also know how to have a laugh! What is life and work without laughter!

Reduce my sugar intake, I had a really bad sweet tooth when I was younger and don’t want bad teeth in the future! I now prefer savoury things anyway, it’s surprising how quickly your palate adjusts when you resist buying biscuits and chocolate! It also makes having sweet things more of a treat when you do have them.

Chef Pâtissière in my own bakery in Italia by the coast, I have an Italian heritage way down the family tree that I’d love to explore one day, apparently my family had their own vineyard and wine company. I’d also love to be a travel/food blogger and travel all over the world to all the stunning places tasting the local cuisine and staying in cute independent hotels, now that’s a fantasy!

I’d say the West is my favourite part of the Island but I don’t have a favourite parish to be honest. You can’t beat a flask of hot chocolate whilst watching the sun go down at Corbière lighthouse with the Hubster.

Baking, I absolutely love baking cakes, I generally specialise in all things sweet and chocolatey. Guinness Chocolate Cake is what I’m known for! I’ll spend all day in the kitchen if I can. My idea of the perfect day is to bake and then dinner at the Salty Dog. I’m odd though as I don’t actually like to eat cake, I’d prefer a plate of carrots and pickle…not joking!

Savoury, I used to love sweet things but because I’m trying to look after my teeth, I now crave Twiglets instead of a chocolate bar!

Sparkly! I love everything glamorous and glitzy! I should have been born back in the glamorous 50’s/60’s! Sparkles run through my veins, I try to be sparkly in all I do. Sparkly to me means to be positive and bubbly in all you do with a touch of fabulous!
